Drones ‘may help isolated patients in rural Wales’

Dr Rachel Rahman from the Centre for Excellence in Rural Health Research in collaboration with collages from the University of South Wales’s Aeronautics department and Swansea University are considering whether drones could offer a useful solutions to the challenges of rural health care delivery. In a series of focus groups with the general public, health care professionals and industry experts, they are considering the acceptability of, potential applications and barriers to using drones as part of health service delivery in rural areas.
