Improving Health and Reducing Inequalities in Rural Mid-Wales
Aberystwyth University’s Centre for Excellence in Rural Health Research is holding an open meeting on: April the 5th, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, venue TBC.

The meeting is open to all residents of Mid-Wales
Rural areas tend to report better health outcomes than urban areas, with higher life expectancy and lower rates of premature deaths. However, rural areas have challenges that can contribute to poorer health outcomes, and these may affect some locations and populations disproportionately.
We are keen to hear your views about some of the challenges that living in rural Wales poses for your health and wellbeing. The centre is looking to gain information which will be used to inform priority research areas for non-NHS interventions in rural health and social care.
