To follow Hywel Dda UHB’s Inspiring Innovation in Practice Conference; July 13th 3.30-4.30pm Halliwell Centre, Carmarthen

The Centre is developing collaborative grant proposals to undertake research that progresses understanding of chronic disease, its prevention and management.
Attendees are encouraged to propose topics which could be developed into projects; however, potential areas for discussion include:
 Differences in the science, treatment, outcomes or management of chronic disease between rural and urban populations
 Informing or evaluating health education and/or management strategies for rural communities
 Considering how existing data could be used to better understand chronic disease and its management in rural patients.

We would be particularly interested to develop projects in the context of Diabetes and Pre-diabetes, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Stroke, and Frailty
